About Bockfest:
Celebrate the coming of spring, Over-the-Rhine's brewing heritage, and bock beer at the largest Bockfest in the United States. Join us on February 28 - March 1 as we celebrate 28 years of the funkiest festival in Cincinnati! There is something for everyone at the at one of the
participating venues or at Bockfest Hall (located at the Christian Moerlein Brewery at 1621 Moore Street, Cincinnati 45202)! Bockfest festivities include:
- Party Like a Bockstar on Friday night by watching the Parade presented by Kroger and On the Rhine Eatery and beer blessing, then enjoying great food, cold bock beer, and live music including headliner the Naked Karate Girls.
- Saturday morning starts off with the Bockfest 5K, then you can tap into the Bock Beer Blowout featuring local bock beer tastings with over 18 bocks on draft, homebrew competitions, historic brewery walking tours, Bockfeast Pig Roast, and fun beer games pitting local breweries vying for the coveted Brewers Cup.
- Saturday night kicks back into high gear with the Billygoat Ball with more cold bock beer, the Beard Baron and Sausage Queen competitions, and headliner The Rusty Griswolds!
- Bring the kids to Bockfest Hall on Sunday for Bock, Brunch, and Bavarians. The family fun starts with the Little Links childrens’ pageant and features kid-friendly games and petting zoo - plus Goat Yoga, the Bockfeast Pig Roast Dinner and Bock Bloody Mary Bar. The .05K Fun “Run” raises funds for the Brewing Heritage Trail and Continental Sunday showcases our rich heritage with live German music and dancing, steins and breweriana, historic brewery walking tours, and a series of local history talks.
